MICHELLE PINA, SOPRANO
This season, Michelle co-founded The Conejo Valley Choral Society, which held its inaugural performance in December, 2022. Michelle is thrilled to bring more performance opportunities for beginners and professionals alike.

Michelle Pina is a soprano based in Los Angeles, California. Past operatic roles include the title role of Massenet's Cendrillon, Blanche de la Force in Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni.
Michelle is also a regular of the concert stage and has performed with professional ensembles across California and Boston in works such as Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Handel’s Messiah, Finzi's In Terra Pax, Duruflé's Requiem, and Howard Goodall’s Requiem.
Michelle received her M.M. in Vocal Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee (2019) and her B.A. in Voice from Pepperdine University (2017).
Performance
In addition to performing, Michelle is an advocate for accessible music education and works with organizations across the US to provide industry resources for young musicians.

In 2020, Michelle and co-host Jessie Ragsdale launched Opera Offstage, an educational podcast for opera singers navigating the early stages of their career. From bringing prominent guests onto the podcast to publishing eBooks aimed at building new skills, the goal of Opera Offstage is to empower young artists to feel more in control of their education and career.

In 2021, Michelle joined financial advisor Tiffany Soricelli and the team at Virtuoso Advising for Artists, helping creative professionals across the US have better access to financial education.

In 2022, Michelle and co-founder Conor Whalen produced the inaugural season of the Conejo Valley Choral Society. As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, CVCS is free for students to join, is non-auditioned, and caters to all levels of experience. The ensemble was founded to provide our community with the opportunity to experience the joy of the choral arts. Having the opportunity to sing alongside professional soloists and orchestra is an experience we believe everyone should have.
